How much does clean up work usually cost for an agency using Quickbooks Online?

We understand the importance of accurate and organized financial records for insurance agencies. Our clean-ups for QuickBooks Online are priced based on the complexity and scope of the cleanup needed, which is typically determined during our initial discovery call and diagnostic review.

Our bookkeeping clean up & catch up services are based on our foundational bookkeeping package, $455 per month, times the number of months.

Our goal is to provide transparent and competitive pricing while delivering high-quality bookkeeping services tailored to your business needs.

How do I start?

We have a simple 5 step onboarding process:

1. Book your free discovery call: Where we will meet for 30 minutes so we can get to know you and your agency better – don’t worry, this is not a sales call.

By the end of the call, we will recommend one of our tiers, as shown on our services page. If we both determine we are a good fit, we will then schedule another meeting, a 30 minute consultation call. Prior to the consultation call we will preform an independent diagnostic review of your QuickBooks Online account.
Don’t worry, this isn’t anything scary. A diagnostic review helps us understand where you are at now so we can better understand how we can help you get to your goals.

2. Diagnostic Review: In order to perform a diagnostic review, we will need Accountant access to your accounting software, QuickBooks Online or whatever software you currently use. The diagnostic review is $100, but if you proceed with a clean up or recurring service, the $100 will be credited towards your invoice, reducing the overall investment.

If you do not currently use an accounting software, we will require the last 3 months worth of banking statements – for each account – and access to whatever accounting system, like Excel or CRM software, you are using, if any. If you are a brand new agency, we will skip this step and go directly into the Engagement Letter & Invoice step.

3. Consultation Call: During the consultation call, we will go over the Diagnostic Review Report of Findings and you will receive a custom quote. The custom quote will be emailed, and will include the monthly recurring services as well as any additional services, like a catch up or clean up, that may be required before we begin working together.

4. Engagement Letter & Invoice: During the consultation call, we will email over our proposal so we can go over the package options with you. Once the package is explained, you will have up to two weeks to accept the proposal, sign the engagement letter, and pay the invoice before the proposal becomes invalid.

Note: no work will be done until this step is completed.
If the proposal expires, we will re-quote the engagement. If significant time has past since the original Diagnostic Review, we will require a new review to re-access scope of work.

5. Kick-Off Call: Once step 4 is complete, we will meet for a Kick-Off Call so we can go over any last minute questions, what you can expect from us over the next few weeks, and to make sure we have proper access and documents needed.

Do we offer onsite services?

We are a 100% virtual outsourced bookkeeping team.

Do we prepare taxes?

No, we do not prepare taxes.

But, as your bookkeeper, we will be your tax preparer’s best friend!
You will have clean and organized books that are ready for tax season. Making everyone’s live easier during tax season.

Are we CPAs?

No, we are not CPAs.
